How to evoke nature on large canvases? Here was my challenge that I decided to conquer in my Paris studio. Nature painted, but nature in the abstract. Nature in its moribund state, but nature that is reborn. Opposing forces but at the same time complimenting each other and always in equilibrium — nature's constant, definite, and unending equilibrium. Nature is the source of inexhaustible energy for we mere mortals.
